I’m Angelica Sadova, a contemporary artist originally from Riga, Latvia, now living and painting full-time in Dubai.

I specialize in oversized abstract artworks that combine minimalist tones with bold textures. I’ve always believed that art should evoke a feeling before it’s understood. For me, scale is everything—the bigger the artwork, the deeper the emotion. I love working with calming, timeless shades like beige, white, and black, allowing texture and movement to take center stage.
“In a world of prints and replicas, owning original art is a quiet statement. It recalls a time when beauty was rare, personal, and reserved for the few—and still carries that same timeless prestige today.”
My pieces are designed to transform interiors—not just to decorate, but to shift the energy of a space and create a sense of balance and elegance. Whether I’m painting in a private villa or collaborating with interior designers, I approach each work as a deeply intuitive process.

Having original art at home is essential. It creates a certain presence in the room—something real and meaningful. When you see the texture, the brushstrokes, the layers of movement, you feel the process behind it. Original art brings warmth and character into a space. It can’t be duplicated, because it’s not just decoration—it’s a reflection of emotion, energy, and individuality. It makes the space feel more intentional, more alive.
Before moving to Dubai, I had the chance to collaborate with luxury hotels such as Kempinski, Hilton, and Pullman across Europe, where my works were exhibited and placed in their collections. I’m also passionate about giving back, and I regularly donate my paintings to charity auctions and participate in art-related fundraising events.
Now based in Dubai, I continue to create large-scale, custom pieces for collectors and design lovers around the region—and I absolutely love it here.
